Welcome!
Welcome! This is the new REALTOR® Foundation blog, where we will solve all the world’s problems, or at least some problems some of the time. Connect with a few of Indy’s leaders in real estate and listen to rants about social inequality. Tell us what you’re seeing on the street today and what’s in our crystal ball for tomorrow. We want to hear from you!
To quell one of this author’s pet peeves, you can rest assured that the start of a blog does not mean you will no longer hear from us in person. This is merely a sidebar enhancement of the thorough communication you already receive from the Foundation.
Our first topic takes us far from the Indy scene, to London, England and one of the busiest airports in the world, Heathrow. Now, everyone knows airport delays can be treacherous. Who hasn’t had the experience of curling up next to your carry on and waiting out the latest flash flood or storm rumbling around the country? According to this article, it is getting harder to distinguish those with actual delays from those who are homeless. I find the creativity praise-worthy (including a quote about needing Louis Vuitton luggage to fit in) but think it’s a sad commentary on the state of both flying and homelessness.
