I know the high gas prices are hitting everyone right now. I heard recently that some people are running out of gas on purpose so they can get a free tow. Here's another story about scavenging for gas.  In San Francisco, there's a service called Zipcar. It's a membership that allows you to share cars with others (I guess like a timeshare for cars) and also provides gas money on a gas card. By the way, gas prices in San Fran are currently ranging from $4.39 to $4.63, a little higher than current Indiana rates.
