Please take me back to jail...

For one man, and probably many undocumented more, life in prison is safer, more secure, and certainly more nourishing, than life on the streets. One thing we have learned in this work with the homeless is that those who finish prison sentences, while seemingly emancipated, feel more threatened and frightened once on the outside with nowhere to go. Many end up back in jail or in the hospital within a short time. Watch this video, and imagine feeling too scared to live in society.
